Given how absolutely ridiculously easy and inexpensive tuning (or swapping) a 350 is, you really can't give these a bad rep for being underpowered, because almost every single one makes 300+ hp these days.

We sell boatloads of these at the dealer I work at and I actually like it a lot. Excellent family car.

You can also build a pretty potent N/A engine out of the BP. There are 2.0 stroker kits if you know where to look.
