As bob_d said, HL was originally distributed/published by Sierra. I still have my Half-Life box somewhere in the garage....

I believe even the US military uses dd-mm-yy. My supervisor was in the Army and she would annoy us all on her paperwork with her silly dates.

Bugger was the derogatory term for Formics. Think of the multitude of names used in human wars to dehumanize the enemy.

It's been said repeatedly but I'll just add to it. At this point, no one can ever say a First Person Shooter can prepare for how to effectively use a weapon. Sure, it can get you the basics, but it'll still take dozens upon dozens of hours to become good at it - even longer if you're teaching yourself. No magical

I love the game and the series, but man, it kinda irritates me now that I look back that the entire scene was a cut scene. There had to be a way they could've involved the player somehow.

Ah, shit. That was great.

I want to go to there.

Suddenly, all the time spent just getting to a 1:1 k:d ratio seems like a giant waste of time.

That image alone made me want to watch Inception. For like the 7th time.

Double post. Sorry.

I lol'd. Well done.

The asterioid field Fett/Obi-Wan chase in Episode II is pretty fun to listen to, too.

I was the cool guy who unscrewed a black controller and a grey controller and swapped the front (or rear?) portion leaving me with one controller with a gray front and black back and one with a black front and gray back. They are both that way to this day. It think it looks pretty neat. I was looking on Amazon

Huskies are very expressive. As much as I want to punch mine in the face sometimes, I'm glad he's around...

I'm grateful for Jar Jar. It's rare, but sometimes "Yousa saying weesa people gonna die?" can be worked into a conversation. It results in many laughs.

And uninspiring, too. Shark? F-15? Sad times.

That was on the other floor.

Perhaps they'll win the Darwin Award.

I never listened to the entire song. I'm a better person for it. Thanks for that.
