@xyz7: I'm sorry. I cannot stop laughing. What the hell is sound art?

@Radisbeautiful: I love this because she totally understood. We've all had to be that asshole at some point, right? Our friends are our friends because they've done it to us too.

@Lady formerly of the Bananas: Um, yes. Every other weekend for an entire semester in college. Seriously, we hooked up like clock work. It was a string of very bad decisions.

@cocobanal: When my grandfather committed suicide, the family refused to approve an obituary. So, the newspaper wrote a story about the suicide instead (complete with pictures of the car in which he killed himself). He was a very well-known businessman in our city, so I guess technically it was kind of newsworthy, but

Well hell, Olivia Bouler. Thanks for making me tear up at my desk. Sometimes all I need is an optimistic kid to show me that being cynical is far less productive/helpful than getting off my ass and doing something. Thanks, Olivia, you're pretty awesome.

@Easybreezy: Mine was in Alabama, but I'm from MS, so now I really want to know where you worked!

@Easybreezy: I worked at a bookstore all through college, and I still fantasize about quitting my dumb office job and going back to those days. Of course, I only got paid $8/hour, but God did I love that job.

I worked at Sonic as a carhop. On roller skates. You do not know shame until you are on your ass, roller skates in the air, covered in two 44 ounce cherry limeades. Cold, citrusy shame.

@Tchotchke: That is exactly what I thought! And that book she wrote about how "Jesus blessed her with all these babies" was pretty much why she got famous in the first place, right? She has a huge female Christian fan base. Or at least she used to, before she became tabloid fodder. I just don't get it.

@o-line: I secretly love it when he loses.

@alula: Seriously. I'm so sorry, Life & Style, that you find my natural skin color to be unflattering and distracting. Hmph.

@MagImpalor: She's the cupcake girl from How I Met Your Mother!!

I would totally do this as favors for my going away party. In fact...

@labeled: CRAZY AUNT KANYE: I agree about your last point, and I think a lot this comes down to entitlement, honestly. People think that they deserve to live at a certain level or standard just because that's the level that their parents have achieved. It isn't your parents' responsibility to make sure that you have

@clevernamehere: A lot of people expect to live at the level their parents do now rather than the level they did starting out.
