So happy to hear this. In light of the facts, it's terrible the original prosecutor decided to drop the case, but at least this is a good start.
From the LA Times article:
OMG. I was Punky Brester when I was little. I looked so much like her (freckled, chubby cheeks, brown hair with bangs in pigtails and buck teeth) that people used to always call me that.
Where the Red Fern Grows
YES. This x 1000!
What? You don't think every girl is going to JUMP at the chance to date this guy?? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/05/16/new…
I wonder that about a lot of our legislators. The National Journal article had everyone in DC dying with laughter when it came out in January. He and his COS are obviously clueless about how things work on the Hill, and her answers to how she will get things done are laughably unrealistic.
He's probably getting advice from his team of experts:
Me too! I was so relieved when I started reading the article.
OMG I am totally in!
Oh nice! I live in the Dupont Circle area. Not too far away. I absolutely love it here.
Oh nice! I live in NW DC. Love it here. Sad to hear you are leaving the area, but hope you are headed to Pittsburgh for a happy reason!
I am! Have lived here for a little over 3 years. Are you in DC?
Bingo. I am a DCer and a former Hill staffer. It's pretty common knowledge in political circles that Rep. Schock is gay.
Haha! Being on here too much can totally get you riled up. There are a lot of awesome people on here, but as I am sure you are realizing, there are lots of jackasses too.
Haha! This site can get you up in arms quickly. Fortunately, one of my co-workers is a Jezebel addict too, and we vent our frustrations over posts to each other periodically throughout the day. Keeps me sane... :)
I almost forgot to add Shia LeBeouf. Let's never forget him!
Oh man... That's a hard one. I am going to have to go with a tie between James Franco and Wolf Blitzer. So many people to snark on, so little time!
