What do we want to bet it's the same "professional security" guy that claimed Samsung was distributing keyloggers with Windows - which just turned out to be a language pack?

fun fact: Most of the Marshall Islands' GDP comes directly from US Government in accordance with the Compact Accord.

I wear skate shoes that I can slip on and off, clean jeans so they're tight enough around the waist I don't need a belt, and a T-shirt with a picture of Bruce Lee doing a karate chop on it. I also keep a thin hoodie in my backpack for once I'm on the plane.

the State department is full of them. Every ambassador or consular officer I've met (admittedly few, but spanning several continents) has been humble and eager to help.

Or it could be that 60 years of making boys "settle down" and "be polite" and behave like girls is finally melting down. When we've reached the point where boys are scolded for running (seen it happen) and tag is banned (seen it happen), then two things happen:

because people are willing to pay the same price. Pretty much it.

I'm not talking about XBMC, I'm talking about the installer for XBMCbuntu, which I was wrong, isn't KDE - but is LXDE.

I think the GUI installer is just the default KDE one - and they're using it since it's built on KDE.

And my thought was "Let's just hope he's not announcing an Abyss remake, or 3d re-release..."

Can we stop trying to trick kids into thinking stupid stuff is cool?

which brings up the point to always make sure that you get a fixed-hour price if you take your car to the shop. They can tell you replacing broken shock-link is a 5 hour job, and if all hell breaks loose and it takes them 15 hours - you still only get billed for 5.

I guess that's been the traditional dividing line between a "cook" and a "chef" - with a fair amount of overlap in between. When someone tells me they're a really good cook, I assume it's the "I'll just imagine something and whip it up" type, not the "follow the pudding directions on the back of the box" type.

I saw the "convert your account" in my notifications - clicked on it, and it tookme to the last thread I commented in. Then I said "meh", cleared my notifications. Then I saw this thread.

Yeah, I guess if you're doing large block writes - I always switch to gigabit at work when I'm moving VMs and ISOs and stuff.

my question is this: What's the best way to sell off your old phone? I want to get new phones for both my wife and myself, I'm thinking maybe a One X and a One S.

I think the problem is the aspect ratio - I have a Dell Streak (5") and I HATE it because it's the standard AR, but my friend has some 4.7" HTC with the qHD aspect ratio - and it's really comfortable because it's still relatively narrow, just taller.

what's the point of a 10meg connection when even wireless B is faster than that (theoretically anyways)? Just get a N300 wifi router.

Here's why I use electrical tape (not claiming to be an expert). Electrical tape does a great job of sticking to itself, so wrapping it around a couple wires to bind them together you know it will stay. And it's still easy to remove. The problem with zip-ties is that somebody always thinks it's the best idea to

good thing I just bought CS5.5 then :(
