I was wondering what that car was.
I was wondering what that car was.
Good point.
But it's not just heat. EV's haven't been fairly well in colder climates like that of Canada's....
Battery's that can cope with extreme weather has been the big problem nobody in the EV industry has talked about. Once EV sales start to take up a good portion of over all automobile sales then I suspect the uproar for this problem will be much greater.
Europe needs more pushrod V-8 aural goodness.
Something like a straight six would would suit this car better. For now I'm just thinking about how terrible the weight distribution is going to be in a car this small.
Never mind the fact it's a Land Rover.
Well from what I've heard Ford is going to stroke the Ecobost engine in the Focus ST to 2.3 liters for the RS , and even though AMG is getting 350 from the 2.0 T their putting in their hot A class but it's probably going to around 50,000$. Ether way I think we'll see 2.0T as the standard for super hatch's in the…
Guess it would be better to say it had been derived from previous generations of SRT-4's. Though I think it will actually be around 2.3 to 2.5 liters considering that's how big all the other big HP four bangers are.
"Why the hell is there an Alfa Romeo 8C behind Goss? Surely he isn't flushing that transmission. Right?" Why? Because it's Gossome. Why did I just make a horrid pun just now? Because Motorweek can't be the only one here to make awful jokes.
Realistically I think their going to go with a turbo'd 2.4 tigershark (isn't that an awesome name for an engine). Though am I right in saying that's the same engine which powered previous STR-4s (and Evos for that matter)?
I've said it a million times and I'll say it again, but if you want a car like a Camry (aka a bullet proof sedan), then for fuck sakes GET AN ACCORD. There, problem solved.
I'm really hoping they make it to be a full out STi/Evo competitor with 4wd. None of this "I'm a cheaper then it's competitors but as a result I'm not really as fast as them" BS that SRT has with all it's cars. Another note, how awesome would it be if the engine they used was a highly stroked and bored out Abarth 500…
If this kicks of the demise of the actual car review, then I guess actual video recording and editing software should be scared as well.
As nice as they look (so long accord four eyes!), I'm still pissed about the whole 4wd thing. If the previews from C/D are anything to come buy then I think the 4wd is going to be more about "safety" then actual performance (consternating little they've talked about it).
Fairly disappointing you guys didn't use the stories us Jalps typed up. Maybe you could make a top 10 list of all stories we posted?
Said champange is being to be used for the world hypermileing championship podium celebration.
I once asked a salesman in a JLR dealer why all the RR, LR4's, RR Sports, and Evoques ride on 19/20 inch wheels. Instead of just saying that's how the rich soccer mom's like them, he pulled the BS "it gives it sportier handling" excuse out of his ass. This prompted me to bring up how wrong he was, with me bringing up…
COTD right here.
Anybody thinking of turning the sight into Sebring 2.0?
