In Trek canon, the TOS (and TOS-movie) era saw experiments with transwarp technology, Omega molecules, and the Genesis device. The bio-drive thing doesn’t seem out of place.

I feel they should have put the timeline after TNG. Technology and the bio concept is too advanced to believe it comes before TOS. Now they are in box they can’t stay within.

YES!! I thought it was just me! Not just cellular data, but general cellular connection strength as well seems to have gotten worse. I’m on Verizon and haven’t seen a carrier update in a while.
