@GebbaGamer: Yeah the one I had (in the US) was definitely a cloth map, kind of like a rough silk. I folded mine up like a handkerchief and kept it in the drawer of my pc desk. Who knows what happened to it though heh.

I believe that this game came boxed with a cloth map. It's been decades since I bought it as a teen when it first came out, but if I think about it, I vaguely recall having a cloth map with all of the towns and cities/shrines marked out.

@Bakamoichigei: Oh I've seen that unfortunately, but that guy was for serious, no parody involved!

It's only a matter of time I'm sure until someone bored enough gets the idea to make a parody of this sort of thing, but instead of the typical scantily clad "gaM3R Grrrll" or whatever, it will be the typical gamer bro all wrapped up in these controllers and prancing around his xbox or what have you.
