Oh Lincoln Centre, you’re doing a screening of Red Sparrow? I’m a little embarrassed for you.

I think that that’s really all there is to it. I kind of keep up with celeb gossip, and she hasn’t really done anything . There’s always backlash. IMO, people like to build up celebs and then tear them down, especially female celebraties with any kind of a strong personality.
Genuinely surprised that no one has come out with allegations against Michael Bay yet. Everything about the guy screams “creepy perv”. I mean, this is the guy that filmed a scene mansplaining how statutory rape was ok in that particular state...in a movie about giant transforming robots.
Ted obviously has never seen the episode.
Maggie once shot a guy, Homer is hugely negligent in his position of environmental oversight, Bart regularly commits fraud, and Marge is an ex-felon with a gambling addiction, but for some reason she’s the moral authority of the family. Sounds like the GOP to me.
Lisa is literally one of the best female cartoon characters ever. It’s funny that Ted thinks this is an insult. It’s only an insult if you’re a complete ignoramus. Everyone knows that Homer is a complete joke and parody. So it makes sense that Ted compared himself to Homer.
So, Democrats are the smart ones who care about the world and want to make it a better place, while Republicans are (pick one) fat, lazy and arrogant; trouble-making trolls; married women who put up with fat, lazy anti-intellectual husbands because they married them; or, have mentality of an 18-month old.
I haven’t watched The Simpsons in a long time, but Maggie is probably a nihilist.
How is this statement in any way controversial, Ned?
Good on him for raising awareness. While we’re at it, we should also acknowledge how depressing the Mariners are.
I remember reading something a while ago that some doctors actually said “Scrubs” was the most accurate and realistic medical TV show they have seen.
ALL TV shows about law, medicine, politics*, police work, life in your 20s, etc. definitely give viewers wrong ideas about what the field is like in reality.
I agree with the sentiment, but I’d be stunned if there weren’t stories from every (or nearly every) country’s Olympic programs.
hahahaha, amazing.
Can you imagine how bad you’d feel the next day? I don’t think I could even make it that long, I’d be trying to escape the crime scene as soon as possible, setting up an alibi...
Sure, punish the victims further. Why not?
The latter. Think about it. Two of the 3 sports in which the most intimate areas of an athlete’s body are “emphasized” are gymnastics and swimming. The next shoe to drop will be the third: track & field.
Well, considering Murica elected a sexual predator for President and his ‘best’ people are noted misogynists why should the sport community be any different (or the academic community, or the entertainment industry). Murica not only likes guns but also likes fucking over people it has power over. Stand proud!
I’m so glad my kids are terrible at sports.
So you respond to his homophobic shit by headlining your article with a homophobic, gay baiting slur?
