They should do this with a lot of Broadway shows. Honestly, they’re priced way the hell out of the range of most people’s budgets. Plus, not everyone lives near New York/a large enough city to warrant a touring production.

The Broadway version is different though. It’s an experience that combines great acting and costuming. It’s fun to see how they bring all of these animals to life with human actors. A CGI film with realistic animals is a completely different situation.
