I honestly don’t understand what happened to sportsmanship. You know, like, not being an asshole? It seems totally lost, and yeah, K seems to love promoting the lack of it.

That big doofus wouldn’t know what to do with himself if he got popped in the mouth for real.
Rendon can be as mad as he wants, but if he’s going to try and embarrass an umpire with a postgame mic-drop, he should wait for a missed call that’s actually worth getting worked up over.
You guys might want to reach out to Sony to get clarification on this.
eSports: Always going the long way around to make itself look stupid.
Forgetting who he is? He hasn’t exactly been just sitting around. He won his class at Pikes Peak two weeks ago.
“It’s time to go long right now, it’s time to go deep,” Braves rookie second baseman Ozzie Albies told a teammate in…
That looks really familiar...
Probably in the minority here, but I think it’s fair for an athlete not to want to take part in someone else’s political speech - not wearing the jersey isn’t that different than not wanting to stand for the anthem. This isn’t a private team, it’s the USWNT, for all intents and purposes an arm of the state.
Durant’s value is additive, Curry is a multiplier. When he’s on it takes a lot for them to lose.
Shawn, I get Deadspin and its writers are big supporters of labor. So am I. But I’m just curious why we need to keep taking this stance on the Super 2 deadline, like the Braves should just surrender a year of service time on a potential superstar out of the goodness of their heart?
Man, get well soonest, Fahey! I await further Snacktakus, toy articles, reviews of random JRPGs, etc, but - take your time. Not as bad as yours, but I too am still in a long recovery from a surgery (broken leg), and I can definitely sympathize, so, really, take all the time you need. We’ll be here.
Ive been playing sea of thieves a bunch now, and i could care less about the repetitive quests and what not. Its all about sailing and being a pirate, sure collecting gold and fighting skellies gets boring, but its sailing the seas with friends, coordinating going broadside on sloops and galleons, while fighting a…
I absolutely adore this game. And like you said, I have no idea how they pulled off that ocean - the feel, the look, the sounds, etc. I sort of grew up on the sea, spending hundreds of hours piloting my dad’s fishing boat, and the ocean in this game is perfect to me.
I just had twin boys and bought this for a thing to do in the wee hours of the night when they won’t lie in a bassinet and I have to hold one or the other of them for hours upon hours. I have played this game for 3 hours in two different play sessions and had to give up because the fight against sleep is too intense…
All these youngins saying there isn’t enough to do.... this is the perfect game for an old (38) like me. I don’t have 20 hours a week to game now.
I’m definitely one of those “the voice actor makes the character” type of people.
I was initially pissed when I learned that David Hayter would not play Snake in MGS V (once I learned the truth about “Snake” in said game, I chilled the hell out, because the decision made sense).
I played—and enjoyed—the most recent Splin…
Yeah, some people want a cheap, reliable car that gets them from one place to another. Some want to build a muscle car from the ground up and spend as much time tinkering with it as driving it. Both are perfectly acceptable approaches, and both are enjoyable for their own reasons.
Just last weekend a crew of randoms and I got to a stronghold just as a galleon finished loading treasure and set sail. While I’ve been dreadful at the combat in this game we managed to sink their ship, and load their loot, and out-maneuvered them to an outpost. It’s the most adversarial thing I’ve ever done in a…
I am the parent of a soon to be 15 year old boy. I’ve never seen him or any of his friends do any of these “next teen craze” thing. Also, my son knows that if he did this shit with his phone, and it broke, he’d be without a phone. I’m not replacing a phone for him if he treats the things he has so recklessly. But…
