I make my guys hold their fire when we encounter ships. I find more joy in the friendly interactions with people, and the initial distrust is always pretty intense. Granted, sometimes it goes straight to all out war, but I want there to be a chance.

Keep with the Witcher books. I was actually just readying chapter two of Baptism of Fire. They are awesome books and a fantastic companion to the games. I’m actually play the game for the first time (I know...I know), and the books really bring the game to life and vice versa.

Yeah I dig it. Seems like an improvement on the system. Credit to the Division for the general idea, and props to Tarkov for bumping it up.

Reminds me more of the Dark Zone in The Division. Guess you can count me in on the next hype train game.

I bought it and I love it. It’s definitely a luxury and not a “Must-have”, but I’m glad I have it.

I tried 2k15. When I made a customer character, spent my VC, decided I wanted to try again with a new character and realized I would be worse off because I didn’t have the VC like I did for the first character. Sold the game and swore it off.

Do it! The books are fantastic. Sometimes they are a slow going, but they are genuinely a great read.

Good and important point.

My 4 year old gets an itch every once and while to fly around, so it stays installed on my PS4.

As much as I would love to be in game development, I just love my kids so damn much and I’m always scared of missing anything. So while it’s not in the cards for me, I hope things change for these folks in the near future. The work / family balance is extremely important.

I get that. But I also get the appeal. I have a job I enjoy, but if I could play the games I want, and make a living at the same time...sign me up. But I know that to be successful, you have to not always do as you please, and the burnout potential is real. In a fantasy, it’s fun to think about, instead of my normal

Umm...it’s an experience piece. He’s telling you his story, how it affected his health, and his take aways. I find it very interesting. Behind the scene information is always nice to hear.

Nothing makes me realize that I am old like trying to understand these communities. I enjoy a lot of YouTube creators and understand the appeal of some content. But then I check the comments sections and communities, and I am forced to accept that I will never relate or understand.

Right. So the presentation of the humor can make all the difference. Pewdie, and many others, seem to lack a lot of that skill.

You’re right. There is a difference. To steal the description from optimus_rhyme, it’s the oversaturation of the bad eamples that comes with YouTube to skew the numbers.

You’re aboslutely right. I guess it gets the job done. While I sit and shake my head, I’m sure I’m guilty of falling into the click traps.

So the “edgy” or “non-PC” schtick is pretty common now right? So it’s hardly original. It seems more of a crutch for a lack of content. Sadly, it gets the views I guess.

Input is always welcome. Obviously, cursing and insults are not.

FFXI...you had to have the exact party makeup, have the right race/job makeup, have the specified gear, and follow the accepted routine. It was frustrating as hell. Luckily, there were great parties that broke the mold.
