Why wouldn't you join a crew? Maybe look for one that is more casual if that's what you're looking for. Having folks you know online makes it so much easier (and fun) to do the serious collecting, and seeing what kind of goofiness you can achieve.

It's all about the crews I think. We always seem to have a good number of folks online, so we haven't worried about waiting on other players. We have started making friends with those outside the crew and helping them fill out empty rooms when needed.
Me and the crew have done a lot of everything available and we're having a lot of fun. But being able to try things out with the creator is going to open up so many possibilities. GTA Online is definitely a marathon and not a sprint. I trust Rockstar to keep it going and keep pushing.
I'm truly excited for this game, and the video did a great job of making it look fun. But I unfortunately compare the announcer to those in Rockstar promo videos, and this just seems so....blah.
Michael is the Rage Quit guy. And it is schtick...to a point. It's not 100% canned as you can see him flow into "Rage Quit guy" naturally in some of their videos. Watch some of the older videos when they were not a weekly feature to really get the joy out of his torture.
That was beautiful! Well done!
Can you let me know how my Christmas will be this year? I'm having some doubts and you seem like just the guy who could help alleviate any fears I may have.
I'll just put mine with yours. Pick a name for Time Splitters 2...see bag of Doritos...thus is born Snackfood.
I have a craving for an Italian BMT....anyone have $5?

I like Drake, but never have I tried to eat, drink, look like him. I'm sure (hope) women don't try to mimic video game characters.
Basically, playing with a group of friends is vital to truly enjoying GTA Online. I can't imagine doing it alone. Races, deathmatches, everything is more fun and more controlled. Even trolling is fun when done with friends.
I sadly remember the entry submission into the current gen of consoles. In 2 years, I suppose we'll see next gen football.

As for the cars, get $25k and buy the garage as soon as you can. The mechanic is a huge perk. Free repairs (actually $50/day), and car delivery service. Completely a game changer.
Every once in a while, a "Random" will sneak in and kill me. I actually enjoy it because I spend the next 10-20 minutes chasing them down and making them regret the decision. It's a fun mayhem every now and then.
Anyone who actually signs those petition sites should immediately be excluded from intelligent discussions.
Told who exactly? Who didn't think this would happen?
See, that's what a lot of my friends have said, but I've been in multiple sessions, and I've had a great experience with "randoms". There's been a few gun fights in the streets, but for the most part, everyone had mics and we were working together.
If you're stuck in a session alone, hit start -> Online -> New Session.
