Heather, would you ever consider doing a write up about game AI behavior of the enemies? The flanking movements of soldiers were really impressive when Half-Life came out, but I was really disappointed with Half-Life 2's AI in 2004 compared to the first Xbox’s Halo in 2001. It’s a deeper problem than you know.

I can’t even look at his face. I used to love this man as an actor and his sense of humor and fatherly attitude - but it’s all tainted now. I just want to scrub my brain with bleach to kill any memories I have about this man.

I had to dig way too far down to find this. We all know it’s not going to happen - but it shows just how forgotten this game is even by it’s loyal fanbase. Valve is a distributor these days, not a developer.

This just depressed me. I never realized 1/48 parts of my day is constantly spent doing inane pointless things. And that doesn’t even account for sleep. :(

I’d argue that the feature actually worked pretty well and they got some good feedback - if there was a hated map or objective, both the losing and winning sides would likely have voted extreme dislike on it. This is a testament to how well balanced the maps are IMO.
