@Barnaby Jones: Agreed. With the added torque the cars will get a better launch out of the corners and be able to have higher average speeds down the straights. Couple this with the continuing efforts to reduce aerodynamic grip relative to mechanical grip and we might have cars screaming down the straights and

@t_s: I agree. I love the different engine formats. I like the idea that others have posed: limit the total amount of fuel (thereby limiting the theoretical maximum power) and let them do whatever they want.

@brahzz killington: Do you mean the shithouse of Maryland? That's a lovely area.

@brahzz killington: I hope you're right, that is actually the closest track to me. Are these guys in the South Jersey/Philly area?

@Speedycop: Well the good news is that frame will definitely make mounting a cage easy.

@ronmancvu: I somehow thought you had to remove them, maybe it's just that enough of the cars are so disfigured that I thought they were missing. ;)

Wow.

@Barnaby Jones: That may well have been a direct Marx quote. Well played.

Praise the Lord! BitTorrent, you're my savior!

@BangedupBumper: Yeah, I admit that I was surprised to hear them not speak English. I assumed it was going to be some American teenager who wasn't raised in a rich automotive culture like (I imagine) Germany. You'd think he'd at least have learned about apexs from video games.

Rule #1 if you're going to try to kill yourself in a car, don't take passengers.

@Baby Benz is now a long-term beater: I agree. It makes me wish it had smaller wheels and a more slender fender flare. And, dare I say it, IMO a little more sidewall wouldn't be a bad thing aesthetically either.

@$kaycog: So awesome, yet so wrong...

@Jstas has gas!: Ah. I haven't seen those. Not as cheesy as sexy robot but, yes, too similar to the Kate Walsh Cadillac ads to really be distinctive and they still don't really inspire anything. At least the Kate Walsh ads were edgy with the great line, "When you turn your car on does it return the favor?" (Brilliant

@TonyLukes3: That's much better. I just had to bust your balls since you seemed confused about where the designer was going.

Now playing

@Jstas has gas!: I completely agree but I'd add that they need to fire their advertising agency too. The Lincoln ads of the last few years (decades?) have sucked. Cadillac really kicked off their rebirth with the Led Zepplin ad and has successfully created a whole series of ads that made Cadillac cool to a much wider

@TonyLukes3: ummm. I don't think Ford is going to put an LSx into a Lincoln. That's not to say it wouldn't be a good idea.

@Saboth: And good luck finding that 4-cyl model on any dealer lot. "Oh. You want the XFE model? We'll have to bring one in for you. It should be here in 4-6 weeks."

Well, that's one way to make me jealous of the incredibly rich first thing in the morning.
