@hellcamino59: Holy crap. Is that taken with a fish-eye lens or is the trunk really 12 feet long? And only two doors. nice.

@Creed_Kotetsu: Search for Firebird decals and there is consistently a seller on eBay that will make you a screaming chicken in almost any color combination you want. I already checked (just for a laugh) and they are just a bit too wide for my beater Miata hood, it would actually overlap onto the fenders.

He needs to get one of those thumb-drive size video cameras and strap it to a car for some at speed footage. Now that would be awesome.

@Engineerman: I think the tinfoil hat wearers that stockpiled munitions because they thought Obama was going to take them away will never feel silly about anything. That would require the ability to be objective about things, reflect on their fears, and admit that there is no boogeyman.

@luisthebeast: it generates a lot of money all right ...for Bernie.

@JohnDecaf: I'm surprised Ford didn't get in on the action, maybe they're contractually not allowed to because of the Leno thing (which I despise) or, alternatively Chrysler/Fiat could have gotten their Fiat 500 some airtime.

@Erik The Red: Definitely worse than the VW/Trek team-up, but then again, I actually like bicycles. For non bike people, the VW/Trek may be worse because they'd end up with a bicycle they don't know what to do with rather than just some random decals with geek-cred.

@Scandinavian Flick: Was that a Miata? Poor thing. I don't know which is worse, this or the Z3 replica that was on NPOCP.

I guess Nigel must have gotten a job at renntech.

@$kaycog: That thing was so awesome I was really disappointed they didn't bring it to production. It is probably for the best though, in today's market they would have probably based it on a Taurus platform and made it a tough looking crossover, thereby inventing a whole new market segment, the Machover.

@Sarcasmo - the longest 2 day weekend: From my own protracted battle with Nibbles, I've found that when you paste the link in make sure it ends in .jpg or some other image file extension. If you don't see that it won't work. If I'm grabbing an image from Google, I usually have to click through to the originating site

@LoganSix: Now, now, the car is very cool but the detailing looks like someone from the marketing division came in and said, "Hey that's cool and all but we need it to have some of the same brand symbols... you know like the Chrysler wiings and some of those hood strake-y things... Like the new Sebring! yea, those are

@LoganSix: Ha! I like how they ruined it with the Sebring ridges on the hood.
