Alas, I have no cable. And even if I did, I'm cheap and I'd have basic and none of the providers around here will give you SPEED at the basic level. Otherwise, I'd be all over this. I love endurance racing.
@ThreeLitre: I thought that number looked surprisingly low, I just didn't go and fact check it. The stated 100lb difference to a Gallardo just made me less impressed by this angle-box, but a 1300lb difference? Yowza indeed. Now that's what Carbon fiber is supposed to be all about.
@Quattro-luvr: ahh, yes, Thailand... quit reminding me.
@Rufus760: I find that strangely appealing... in an alien life-form kind of way.
@smackela: I haven't seen one of those on the road yet. I didn't realize how glad I am. ugh.
@Sporting16w: Why, yes, I do have a pet giraffe, but he is very small.
@Muscles Marinara: Whoa. I've never seen one of those. That looks like a bad aftermarket addition.
@SpikeJnZ - Beeblebrox For President: Holy crap. That's ridiculous. I can only imagine how berserk I would go if some cop busted into my house and then killed my dog. I'm pretty sure I'd completely lose my sh!t and be shot soon thereafter.
@theart: good point. Hasn't this guy ever heard of NESBA? Save it for the track buddy.
@IamZardoz: I totally agree the home raid was clearly harassment. I'm not a litigious person but a civil suit is warranted and ultimately it is necessary as a reminder to police squads everywhere that you can't do that crap.
Sometimes the legal system gets it right. WooHoo!
@Matthew Urso: here's the full story on his website- [www.buybatparts.com]
@jd: That's pretty much exactly what I was going to say.
Best of luck in on your novel Murilee. I've always thought of you as the most jalop of the Jalop staff, keeping Jalopnik grounded in grease, funky oddball cars, and junkyard fun. I hope we'll still get to hear about your adventures at leMons. Don't be a stranger, we hope to see you again even if it is less often. You…
@Baby Beater Benz: I had a '68 230 with MB Tex interior and I have to agree. I think you'll be able to pick up mint condition MB Tex seats out of junkyards well into the next century. Truly amazing stuff.
mmmm, those wagon wheels look brand new!
So was that 6.95 on DOT tires? I assumed it would have been on slicks.
@son of a Sven: Handicapping. Drag racing has this method of making it so you finish around the same time. So, yes, the other car left much earlier than him but it was intentional.
@PotbellyJoe - wants to build a little turtle fence around his soul: It definitely looks like it failed the roof crush test. Wow. I thought it would have survived better than that. That thing is seriously flattened to the point of permanently injuring the occupants if not killing them.
