@Clay Davis: Agreed. There need to be several more zeros after that number. I'm really sick of "white collar" crime barely being punished.

@Elhigh: @Shadowman615: Ha! Yes, I had forgotten about that. It was on one of the overpasses between Connecticut Ave and Georgia Ave. It is gone now but that was a legendary bit of graffiti.
@oddfish: and don't forget the curves on 495 around the Mormon Temple, " Look kids, the Enchanted Castle!" BRAKE! (to an almost complete stop)
@angryatthesystem: grrr, nevermind, image fail..
Funny how back in the day we all complained about how 3300lbs was such a porker. Yet by today's standards 3300lbs makes this car look more like Taylor Swift than Kirstie Alley (E90 m3 =3700lbs, etc. etc.)
@Matt Hardigree: Wow. Well, at least an innocent bystander wasn't caught up in it (not that the passengers weren't innocent but they were at least somewhat complicit).
FYI- the LA Times caption on one of the photos says that there was "at least one pedestrian."
I think it looks great but I think I'd have to dress up like Cruella deVille in order to be seen in it. It is so stylish that it seems to be somewhat cartoonish.
@snapoversteer's walking around eating his Triscuits: That's what I was wondering too. Come on Ben, you can do it! Or at least send an intern.
@Fast_Nel: @Mischif: @IN THE FACE!: HA! I fail. I didn't even look at the title. I'm really brain dead from the weekend.
@Fast_Nel: Now that is American ingenuity at its finest.
@4 cam torino: now that's being a good motorhead investigator. Bravo. Since I only watch NASCAR if it happens to be on when I walk by, I would have never known that. I'd promote this comment if I could.
@VMA1T: You win.
Great car but why brand it as a Buick? I've never thought of Buick as a hatchback kind of brand. It would have made a great Saturn. Or a hot-rod version as a Pontiac... but I guess that's not an option anymore.
@PotbellyJoe - As seen on I-287: That's what I thought he (or more likely his lawyer) would argue, we can't prove what he was thinking when he chose those numbers. Context may be everything but it would not likely stand up in court.
Nope. I've seen a better one on a red convertible Vette:
@Danimal: Cool car. It is sad how progress makes such a cool car seem so pedestrian today.
@CABEZAGRANDE: His 54-MPH smugness is so palpable you need to roll the windows down so you don't suffocate.
@Shadowman615: True, they might have one of those stair climbers to help them get in!
