@Buickboy92: I assume you're being sarcastic. The 1980's Chevy/GMC van was the absolute pinnacle of American full size van design (the Dodge was a close 2nd, Ford was a distant 3rd but #1 with the pediphile-set). Your photoshop just shows how soul-less the current design is; if it can't be improved with the heritage

@Festering neon distraction: You make a very good point but I think your venom of blaming 'green arrogance' as the reason we don't have a good way to measure efficiency is a bit over the top. Right now we are in an unregulated time because the govt hasn't caught up with technology and the auto manufacturers are having

@BullittFan_Førds4Life: Reløaded: well, admittedly, being cooler than me is a fairly low bar, I mean, come on, I like station wagons, I drive a 23 year old jap truck with a slushbox, my 'fun' car ('92 Miata) has people questioning my sexual orientation and, quite irrationally, I would still prefer a much less powerful

@patman: I smell a new meme being born.

@Elhigh: that gives me an idea, instead of active aero aids, like the old rear wing on the Corrado, give us active auto-extending wheelie bars for high power FWD cars. That would be cool.

@skay¢og: and this is why we love you skaycog.

@OA 5599: "We just felt if two turbos worked good, then four would work even better-especially on a big engine like this one." ...

@BigHarv: funny, I was thinking they had way too much clearance in those rear wheel wells...

@Adamskiy, as seen on TV!: @Thomas Paladino: Yeah the price may be steep but think of it as a half price Veyron and it sounds like a bargain.

@morcheeba: Someone needs to make an aftermarket clear air box cover for that. That is far too awesome to cover with generic black plastic.

@OA 5599: Ok, that one needs explanation. Although if I had something like that on a dyno I think I'd be dragoning it too.

God, I love a dirty car.

@Bustedknuckles: @MushyHeirloom: Here is the first company to run:

@Wes Siler: even in a group of 8 or more? That surprises me. I think that a large group of riders moving to the front at a light would tend to piss off other drivers even if it was legal.

@80Kofdrew: I used to lane split when I rode in NY but if I was out with a buddy (rarely) I tended to not do it. I never rode in a large group but from what I've observed they always stuck together and then fanned out on mountain roads, just as you've described.

I don't think lane-splitting would have saved these riders. A group of riders (I think there were 8 of them) out for a casual group ride would probably not split a lane at a light, it would tend to split the group apart and mix them in with all of the cars. Not a very good group ride at that point.
