Thanks! If you can, could you give me more details? Like where I should go to do this and maybe even an early step-by-step? I can’t believe I didn’t know this was a thing you could do — I guess it’s because I’ve played all Fallout games since the first at launch and it was never a thing before.

Confusing is an understatement. I literarlly didn’t know it was in the game and I’m 10-20 hours in. Hope it isn’t mandatory.

Although I apparently know nothing (I didn’t know you could craft or build communities or anything else), from what I do know (apparently nothing), you need to visit a vendor and they fix your armor.

How???????? How did you know this was a thing you could do and how did you do it? As I keep saying, I’m over ten hours (maybe closer to twenty) into the game and I didn’t build ANYTHING (besides modified weapons). The game never told me I could. I’m wondering if my copy had some bad glitch. I’m getting increasingly…

Then I guess I’m just a moron. I didn’t even know you could build settlements and control people, or whatever. I still have no idea how that works or how everyone besides me seems to know it’s a thing you can do.

I’d recommend not gaming on PC. Another benefit is you actually own a physical copy of the game and don’t need to log into some Draconian form of DRM to play the game you paid for.

You think YOU have it bad? I didn’t know I could make a settlement and I’m pretty deep into the game. Getting scared I need to go back to the beginning and start all over again.

I built my own aircraft hanger in the middle of Sancturary.

Is this a mandatory part of the game? I’m over ten hours in and didn’t even know it was a thing you could do and it sounds like Minecraft. And I hate Minecraft. So unless it’s mandatory or makes the game way easier, I don’t think I ever want to do it, so can it not be done?

That was, literally, the most confusing post I’ve ever read regarding a game I’ve been playing. I read it over three times and still have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about or how to do the things you’re speaking of.

Is there something wrong with me? Does the game give us a spot to build houses? I’ve played for way over ten hours and have never built a house, didn’t know I could build a house and doubt I have the stuff to build a house. I didn’t even know there WAS a building system. Can you just build shit randomly? Where? Is it as lame as Minecraft?

I need it in that once place where George Clooney tells you to find people who disappeared three years ago. I cannot beat that part. At least not at level seven.

I think I have those, but I don’t know and I do know I won’t remember I have them next time I play. Stupid crafting systems. I liked RPGs before they turned into Minecraft.

Exactly. This is the worst example of how NOT to drop a player in since Resident Evil 6 (which was a great game, if you ever ever ever got a hold of the surprisingly complex control system). Ironically, both games seem like good games. Maybe the publisher should actually put out for a fucking manual.
