I had a ‘91 300D with the 2.5 turbo. Unlike my ‘83 240D, the 300D was quite suitable for modern traffic. I could pass on two lane roads in any sane spot. It would get 44 mpg at 75 mph. I was at our local Toyota dealer today eyeballing the Corolla hatchback for my lovely spousal unit....they have a white Supra on the showroom floor. It DOES look pretty damn good in flesh; photos don’t do it justice.
