Yeah but no one is looking forward to Chess 2 because it's not the same developer.

Does anyone know if this is going to be a pvp zerg gank fest like Aion was, noticing it's made by NCSoft.
So is it Chua or Chau? Because the article calls it both, and they sound QUITE different.
I've been following this game for some time and the Dominion honestly has had me sold for awhile. They are finally a cool evil side that isn't just full of zombies and blood as if that is enough to make it -evil- and the dialogue of them is just comedy gold.
Wildstar, you got me hooked on your style, humour and seemingly interesting combat mechanics: I beg you, please don't disappoint me upon release like so many MMO's before you.
Everything I see about this game makes me want it more. It has such amazing character and reminds me so much of vanilla WoW in all the right ways. It is a testament to the game that I legitimately cannot decide which race or class I want to play. I will play them all and if the writing and humor is even half as good…
I want a Rocket Raccoon, because raccoons with big guns are AWESOME! Now I have a 'evil' faction race to play, and a 'good' faction race to play! Good times!
Honestly, this will be my next MMO without a question.
The original series was a kids story but it was also entertaining for adults and didn't go for low brow humor.
Publishers are fucking retarded. Indie devs know how to roll.
It's almost like someone woke up and said...
"Hey. These guys are giving us publicity.
For free.
And we don't have to pay for it.
...Maybe this is okay."
Man, I must be ridiculously lucky when it comes to Steam. I've been using it since the HL1 days and never had a single issue with it. Not one. Not even when I had to register my HL2 CE disc, though I heard about the problems people were having with that. As a result, I've always loved Steam and felt incredibly…
I didn't get on steam until 2008, but god it was STILL awful then. I remember myself and a group of friends had arranged a mini TF2 tournament - and steam crapped itself RIGHT before we were about to set up. Loadouts stopped working, chat stopped working, it was terrible. We'd joke that Gabe must have sat on the…
Man, I still remember that. I was in the Steam beta with CS too, and it was so crappy in the beginning. I remember being mad that I was forced to use it for HL2. At least those early shitty days turned into something rather good. And at least I have the bragging rights of having a 10 year old Steam account :P. I'm old…
Anyone with experience on Microsoft's marketplace knows better than to expect Steam-like sales. The only thing prices there have going for them is, while game values barely ever go down, I guess inflation sorta makes that $15 purchase a better deal three years after its release.
Yup, there were a lot of issues. I too was digital so I wasn't bothered by the system that much but they definitely had a lot of things to iron out and it didn't help that it was damn ugly. I had actually forgotten how ugly the old Steam client was!
I remember installing Half Life 2 for the first time. The disc was fubar. It wouldn't fully install. It just plain wouldn't. So... I figured, wth. Steam is required... I took the CDKEY, plugged it into steam and just downloaded it. And it worked.
Absolutely correct. I had the HL2 CE or whatever it was, and had to register it with Steam's authentication servers on launch day. That was a mess.
Granted, many games have had the same mess since then and we haven't hated on them as bad as we did Steam at first.
The best part of both is Carl Lumby and Phil Lamarr reprising their roles as the characters from Justice League/JLU. So excited, MM looks amazing!
Hostess failed because it was ran by a bunch of greedy corrupt bastards
