Maybe they decided to focus on games that are a bit more fun, rather than graphically impressive?

You don't need to do the conversion, just type "250000 pounds to USD" in google and you got your answer

It's $377,575 USD. Also the British Pound Sterling isn't metric.

Well that's what I meant with the paths. The gear would unlock more of the thing you love. A kind of double reward. Similar to how getting gear in raids used to be fairly important to accessing the next raid.

You get the gear for your characters visual progression and you get new things to go and do thanks to the

Yeah there are more elements to a games success but the thing about gear is it kind of links them all together. If you put effort into getting it then whenever you see that piece it not only feels rewarding but it also provides a memory of what you did to get it.

Gear is the scrapbook of MMO's it's a collective

Firstly, I mentioned the logistics problems of 40 mans. As I said they need really solid systems in place to make it happen and it was also why I requested a 20 man mode which would make the groups easier to build and merge. I would actually prefer 20 mans on the whole since 40 man raids usually amounted to very

I listened when you said you didn't enjoy green eggs and ham Doc.

Ooooh SURE, when I say it, nobody listens, but when the guy who programmed the Unreal Engine says it, you take it like it's gospel

(flaps arms in a childlike manner)

Yeah, same with movies like Godfather, Scarface, Casino, Departed. Given some of the idiots that like those movies too, those movies are totally like the Nascar of movies.

Have you even read JL #22? SPOILERS He was being controlled since Pandora gave him Pandora's Box, thinking Superman should be one able to resist it, but he completely caved and was taken over END SPOILERS

It's more like "the Youtube comments section doesn't attract the most intelligent of people."

GTA IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony was one of the most intelligent and nuanced games I've ever played. Almost all of the GTA games have complex characters and fantastic writing. The gameplay is mostly just blowing stuff up, but that's not what I, or any of my friends, play it for.

Funny, "i don't even try games that might be popular" and quickly point out that people who play these "mainstream games" are idiots.

I'm just gonna throw this out there. If we factor out boring ass sim type games (flight simulator, farming simulator, etc), I'd honestly the biggest draw for intelligent gamers is....Pokemon. That's right, I said it. With the sheer amount of examination and number crunching that's gone on for the last 10 years with

Probably simulation and strategy games such as Civilization, Anno 2070, Dwarf Fortress, EVE online etc.

I always thought either extremely complicated games, proper sandboxes and turn based strategy probably attract the most intelligent people so lets roll on with Dwarf fortress, Eador Genesis and X3.

I should point out I don't actually think people who play GTA are morons nor am i the OP, I was just attempting to answer

Just out of curiosity, but what games do you think attract "the most intelligent of fans"? I'd really love to hear this..

Sense of entitlement?
Sony published a price, as a company they are forced to keep it, even if it was a mistkae, there's no entitlement in that -.- and that comes from someone who never gets this kind of deals anyways
