Haha I salute you as well!
And you like those sparkles...you should see my ACTUAL entry!
Ask and thou shall receive.
I will gladly keep this in mind, as they should keep in mind my promise to switch to Sony and the PS4 if Microsoft enacts these anti-consumer policies.
I'm not buying a $400+ piece of electronics to it can say when I can and cannot play games I buy. I'm out this gen if this is the norm.
You have no idea how sad it makes me that you're so right about this. I grew up playing the LucasArts space combat games. Now 28.
You'd be better off comparing it to Freelancer, Wing Commander, X-Wing, TIE Fighter, or more recently the iOS based Galaxy on Fire I & II
I love how they say you can sell used games..but only to people they say you can.
Respectfully. I don't want a challenge. I would like convenience.
"Format: Digital download available only for Windows 8 PCs, tablets and Windows Phone 8 devices"
So you fall for the otherwise unsupported claim that used games really are causing lack of new sales And not the publishers themselves?
Eh, DLC is an answer to that problem from a development standpoint. As is pre-order DLC incentives.
Did you just seriously argue that retailers have no right to make a profit off of selling products? That it's perfectly okay that they be forced to operate under cost on new products?
Sure, because those retailers are PAWN SHOPS. No, seriously, GameStop files as one. Their primary product they offer is one of convenience. They offer a quick and easy way to get some money back for your games without having to take the time to eBay or Craigslist it.
Sure it does.
With PC games, I can accept you purchase a license. For PC games, you have access to the files of the program.
And yet the End User, the Consumer, is hurt by saying the developers deserve to profit off of a product they've already profited off of.
