Would you feel the same way about developers getting a "cut" of the money on used game sales if you knew the REASON there are so many used game sales is because retailers make nearly NO money on selling new games?

Publisher and Developers should not see a cent. Nor should the console maker.

Here's an idea... WE RESPECT THE FIRST SALE CLAUSE AND STOP ACTING LIKE ANYONE ELSE BUT THE PERSON WHO ORIGINALLY BOUGHT THE GAME HAS ANY RIGHT TO ANY MONEY FROM THE RESELLING OF IT!

I like how Protoman just goes "You know what? Fk this sht. I'm gonna go get this done, you guys run interference."

Red Shirt Puppy was the first thing I thought of the second we all started discussing how likely it is that the dog won't make it through to the end of that CoD game.

They need to equip this dog with a red colored shirt of some kind...

Bingo, and even then it doesn't hold water.

No, you're NOT taking money from developers.

Dude. Look up the concept of the Right of First Sale in US Copyright Law.

So wait...If we were to lend a game to our friends...they have to pay to play it on their system. Not only that, but they have to pay the FULL PRICE....

$10-$20 to lend a game to a friend is BEYOND fucking bullshit.

Mario Party + drinking game = solution.

I don't get why people say this car doesn't look good or special or anything.

Great choice of cars to use, Kotaku. Kudos.

Someone make sure Vile Rat ends up on this show. In some way. Let Sean Smith live forever.

I live in the state, and as a gamer, I'm sorry there was nothing about this deal from the start made ANY sense to jump at.

It was a gaming studio run by a man who, admittedly, knew NOTHING about games...trying to make an MMORPG, which are notoriously HIGH risk, HIGH expense, and low chance of success.

"Are you my mummy?"
