Sure the Tesla does this, and with little to no surprise from me, but I'm curious about what other brands record as well. It should have been a toggle. Default to off, but allow us evil fossil fuel-guzzling fat asses to flip it on at the cost of higher power consumption.

I just got a Mazdaspeed 3 in black. Two reasons I picked that color: my Miata is black so I get to stick with a theme, and I didn't want a silver 3 as that's like the only colour people seem to buy them in. I gave a guy in a plain 3 a thumbs-up once just because his was in some burnt orange color.
