Not drinking soda would be a very healthy change you could make. That stuff is really not good for the human body.

I also don’t like seeing this because of course most of it will be thrown away. I must remind myself that people are not starving because of food waste like this. We generate plenty of food for humanity. People starve for different reasons including economics, logistics, and politics.

I assume it is delicious, but it looks disgusting. Like a pile of vomit or cow diarrhea.

Wow! Knocked her eye out? Like, really? You can’t tell from the video. That sounds like hyperbole to me.

I’m currently playing Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and I particularly like the loading screen when traveling on the subway. You see yourself standing on a moving subway train with other random passengers. The camera angle changes a few times over the load and then you exit the train.

If people acted like real peopel the movie might be worse. Half the crew would just cower in corners in the ship until the alien finally wandered in and killed them while the rest half-heartedly fought or put up shitty barricades that did nothing.

I agree. Kong: Skull Island may not be a masterclass in filmmaking that will go down through the ages, but it definitely rises to the level of “good”. Maybe even “great”.

Hm. How does that green dinosaur poop?

Whenever possible I buy refurbished electronics. The prices are, of course, always better and they commonly undergo even more careful QA testing than new electronics do and typically have equivalent warranties. I have yet to need a warranty or have a single major problem with refurbished stuff. Come to think of it, I

It sounds like you perhaps should buy and use one. You sound stressed.

While not terribly difficult, I wouldn’t say it was too easy.

While this might not be a great example, this does speak to the fact that as robots take some of our jobs entire new job categories are also being created.

so what I’m getting from this is that the publishers of apps also suffer from their own version of “pay to win”.

You may kid, but it’s true.

I find this odd too. When I buy a product from any reseller I can think of I can return it for a full refund. Sometimes with no reason at all. How did airlines wriggle out of that?

Hm. Your mother doesn’t sound too fun to be around while traveling if anything goes wrong.

I think you left a “Not” out of the article title.

No kidding. Omnipotence corrupts completely.

I loved Black and White. I always tried to be a good god in that for some reason. Same deal in Populous. I seem to have gotten meaner to NPCs over the years. It doesn’t bode well for NPCs in games that come out in the next decade or so. Those little bastards are in for a rude awakening. :-)
