@drewids: Sure I understand what they're protesting. I suppose my quip at the end was meant to say something more along the lines of: "You broke the law, you play on our terms now". I'm certainly not against them having basic human rights afforded to them, but I also don't think they're in the position to be asking

@megan.l.best: Respectfully, I think your arguments are relatively sound with one major exception.

Cats like to watch sunrises too!

That's phenomenal. It makes sense that a physical (sort of...it's a drawing) representation of a number multiplied by another number would yield a physically quantifiable result. But who was sitting around to think that up!? This is an awesome tool for visual learners too...and people who still count on their fingers

This is crazy. Now just imagine that happening to normal steel and concrete buildings and you've got yourself a winter in Colorado. One winter walls were bowing and glass was popping out of buildings and shattering because of how heavy the snow on the roof got.

I wonder if the reason for its discontinued use was how the ride ended: I don't see any pictures of how the thing stops! Breaks? Pads? Brick wall? Lots of asphalt burn?

Oh no, Kat. Don't let #whitenoise see this. Will the evil reign of the vuvuzela never end!?
