Jup agreed, there is no reason for a burner to be able to post images (or even hyperlinks) of any type. Only accounts that have gotten a minimum amount of recommends should be able to do this.

Why give up on all .gifs? Just make it so that anonymous burners can't post gifs and only established accounts with a minimum number of recommended posts can. It's quite a good safety net and at least a ban will be worth more than it is now ...
