More than anything the Tire Rack sign reminds me of the scene in Wayne's World (movie) when the arcade takes over the advertising and runs just about everything behind the scenes. The kind of choppy feel to the show shows that there is something under the surface pulling the strings that really doesn't "get it" or is

It really looks like the show was doomed from the start. The giant Tire Rack sign just was a foreshadowing that corporate interest were gonna rule from the start. Therefore, instead of letting the series mature and find it's own route, it was gonna be "fixed" until they broke it.

That was awesome! The chicks were incredibly hot too. Then again, I'm a sucker for rockabilly chicks and I also have an odd fascination with Germany too all while having yellow fever. Find me a German-speaking-rockabilly-Asian-chick and I'll be uber happy.

and the Honda and Porsche

Also got a shot or two of some of the cars in the vid. It was cool recognizing them

Tom, you may have missed another year out on the salt flats but I sure didn't.

I always remember hanging out in Burbank when I was a touch younger at various car shows. Especially the Bob's Big Boy in Toluca Lake. Well, there was an M3 that I would see sometimes with the vanity plate "1BDARMO" (or something to that effect, it's been a while).
