I have been to lots of places with work including the US east coast. Every single time I've been to the east, I've been really disappointed in the quality of women out there. Hey, I'm from Southern California, so we are a little spoiled by beautiful women. There is one exception.... Montreal. Montreal had some

Lots of theories abound but the one that seems to make the most sense is that DuPont wanted to get out of the chemical business and focus more on bio-science and green/renewable industries. The fact that they sold their coatings businesses (auto paint, commercial fleet, industrial and powdercoating divisions were all

Yeah it seems we basically are agreeing lol. I still think 85% is a little high but ehh.... either way MSO's will still have the majority of the market in the coming years.

MSO's have been taking over for sure. The growth of Fix, and Service King in particular have been huge and they will only get bigger. I still disagree on the small Ma' and Pa' shops being totally dead though. There will always be a place for them, but they will just not be a large player. Just as with the materials

Some MSO's keep a real tight ship but there are many, many of them out there that still play fast and loose. I was working with one recently that just did not have their shit together at all anywhere in the shop. Office, body shop or paint shop, it was all a mess.

Most modern fillers stick to aluminum perfectly fine. Aluminum has been used significantly for years now, and not even on "rare" or "expensive" cars.

Expeditions, Mustangs (since 2005 I believe), Mercedes, and many other manufacturers have had aluminum hoods for years now.

I posted this on the Facebook comment section as well, but hey, I'll post it here too as someone in the industry.

I don't see why over 300hp is so hard to believe. They already get 350hp out of the EU Focus RS and that's in a FWD chassis. With the RWD architecture of the Mustang available (stronger chassis, drivetrain supporting bits) it should be able to do that easily.

Bravo!

These assholes ruin it for the rest of us that are responsible car owners. Fuck them all. I hope they all get arrested, and their cars get taken away. Whoever owns that 240 will be the first outed. The drifting community is very tight, so it's sure that someone knows who owns that car.

Now playing

Already used it once in the replies.... I figure it's gonna be needed..

Did Jalopnik really just put their watermark over an Automobile Magazine cover?

I have a corporate credit card and a company supplied (100% paid for) phone. So that means I'm ok to do this until it's shot down? SWEET!

I prefer the my own little theory that the universe is a simply built on the perspective of scale. We are atoms inside of cells inside of a larger organism that we cannot comprehend. Does an amoeba inside of you comprehend a human being?

You got a problem with the Aztek?

I always liked this one in a way.

Freiburger is just one of "these two guys" now? He's awesome and a pioneer in big, stupid and often horribly unsafe automotive fun.

I won't be at SEMA this year, but feel free to moon one of my coworkers that will be spraying in the DuPont spray booth near the entrance. Or just laugh at them as they sweat their ass off. I'm all for that too.
