The last year for the 5.0L in the Mustang was in 1995. Then they went to the 4.6L which was even worse for at least the first 3 years. Then it slowly started to make some real power in 99, but still down significantly to the LS1.

Good to see them tuning it more and getting it to go faster. The 1.668 60ft is terrible though. I guess traction issues are still plaguing it. There's still a ton of potential in this 1500hp car.
