I have to say, I am patiently tolerant with spoilers - but with Star Wars, I didn't know I would ever feel something close to rage. Every time someone posts aerial shots of the Millennium Falcon or costumes or the set, I get unreasonably upset and want to rant against spoilers. But if it's a film that's about to

Having lived here, I believe Singapore should definitely be on this list. It puts the other cities to shame in my opinion. It takes 30 minutes to get from one end of the island to the other, not because of the size but because of the seamless highway architecture.

Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. Firstly, I cannot believe it has been 14 years since it released. Second, on the surface, I liked it as a kung-fu style movie but I loved it more when my dad explained the symbolism behind the title. He had this lovely explanation of how the tiger and dragon both reside in all of us and

I am left handed - it's funny but while playing the violin or ukele in real life, I use my right hand as the standard bowing or strumming hand. However if I want to bust out some air instrument playing, my left hand automatically becomes the bowing or strumming hand!

I'd still watch!

I am thrilled about Reed Diamond. He has been criminally under utilized so far (he's still in Franklin and Bash I think - such a waste of talent) - I am looking forward to his role!

I stand corrected. Thank you!

That background music. Hans Zimmer does it again. Shut up and take my money.

Okay good people of the internet, I have no idea who Dr. Strange is and why he is important. Sorry! I discovered Nova (and Moon Knight and Ant Man and The Punisher etc etc) a couple months ago thanks to io9 and I am in love. Anyway, think anyone can help me out with a few book recommendations that will be a good

Great point about the device becoming a part of choreography. My one consistent complaint when watching ballet performances shot on film is the camera work. Usually it focuses on the dancers' faces and does not pan out when it should. This video was pretty seamless in that regard. Average choreography though.

I think as a boyfriend he would suck! Remember how much Dr Manhattan sucked? (Just speculating for fun!) Has io9 already written a series on the worst boyfriends in sci fi?

I would literally pay Michael Bay NOT to make Johnny Quest! And if I had any money left over, I'd beg Brad Bird or Steven Moffat/Mark Gatiss to make it!

Sigh there's always one...but yeah, child of the 90s so the 1996 version! The original adventures feel a bit dated now.

Agree - and passive is effective to emphasize the subject acted on; in this case the victims, not the source of reportage. (English major here although I graduated eons ago and my current job has nothing to do with my major)

Hmm, I now see Nicholas Brendon in the picture on the left and Nathan Fillion in the picture on the right!

Now playing

Let's take a moment to listen to the badass theme music shall we; I wonder who the composer was.

I will join you. Cowabunga dude! Now if they made a Johnny Quest movie, I would move into my 30s a happy happy girl.

I have never watched Firefly and I only know Nathan Fillion through Castle. But I love Guardians of the Galaxy as a comic book series (one of the io9 community members introduced me to them!) and I can't wait for July 31! (I probably should watch Firefly some time though)

Would it be a stretch to say Quasar is the monstrous inmate? He could have gone a little cray cray when he was drifting in space....and Nathan Fillion looks like him damnit!!!

This is cool - I think it is fitting the Falcon is taking over. He has this innate sense of integrity and goodness, similar to Rogers. I approve this message ;)
