Agree - international film in India only has a 10%, maybe lesser market share. Only the tentpoles do well, like a Harry Potter or a Batman. Day and date releases fare better since there's lesser opportunity for piracy but overall, it is hard to compete with the local product. Disclaimer: I used to work for Warner Bros.

Did you watch The World's End at a cinema? I had the same reaction when I did but then I watched it again on a flight and it was a better experience. I got the jokes and the nuanced dialogues - I guess some movies just need a more intimate medium to tell their story.
