I used the DVE HD basics blu ray disc for my LED LG TV (costs $25 at best buy and they denied they carried such a product in an effort to make you pay $300). @gunluva plays the hopscotch on the pro circuit: Laser pointer is only for range (Kinect has IR sensors). There is no reason the PS3 eye cant do exactly what the kinect is doing. It is already mapping an object in 3D. Its the end output of what you do with that information is what is changing here.
