Alfas are pieces of shit.  Friend of mine went and test drove one with 4 miles on the clock. Didn’t even make out of the parking lot before the check engine light came on and enabled limp mode. Impressive.

Super cool. I Actually was a CCP dev. ( I quit 10 years ago). I still wasn’t allowed to reveal myself. Feels good now. Also I quit Eve 6 years ago, so it really doesn’t matter anyway.

Megasquirt it. Buy a prebuilt board from DIYautotune.com. You only need MS2 for spark only.

Been tempted to pick up PS VR for a while. How does it stackup to the Oculus? How does it work for those with glasses?

Can confirm. These are the valves after my mk3 VW 2.0L engine had a camshaft change and wasn’t timed right.

I am interested in VR, but I wear glasses and have severe astigmatism. How would this work for me?

VW Mk3 5 speed. Driving on a busy street when I push the clutch down. *SNAP* foot goes all the way to the floor. Cable snapped. I dug around in my car (normally I carry tools, of course not today) found 4 zipties.

ScioToyobaru 8RZ owner here. Turbo charged btw. I drove the shit out of mine NA and totally loved it. Headers, tune, tires and some bracing and sway bars made the car a gem. Yuuuuge fun let me tell you.

This happened literally 2 blocks from my house. And yes. I could smell it. And it was awesome for a while, then it turned gross after it burned. The smell is still lingering when you drive by it.

As a Milwaukee resident and avid Pokémon Go player, the reason behind this was this park, Lake Park, was in the middle of a very affluent area of the city. They didn’t like people parking and walking in loops around the park. I frequent this park a lot. Everyone keeps to the paved trails. No one litters. Everyone is

Sweet jesus....If that is accurate, The driver will need a G-suit to not pass out. 0-60 in .2 seconds is about 13 Gs of acceleration

I think I threw up a little.

100% agreed. As bad for grip as the stock tires are, they are extremely communicative. Replacement tires, though needed for grip, aren’t as great as communicating exactly when they are going to break free. But in order to keep the car from spinning out when taking a 1 G turn, needed.

It has plenty of torque. The torque curve needs to be fixed.

Agreed, that is a side affect of a better tune. The AVCS on the car are really what needs to be tuned. When i was stock, I had a basic tune with additional AVCS timing and it did get about 10 hp. not enough to make a dif there, but the dip was nearly gone.

No doubt. I just bought a turbo kit for it :) Does it need it? No. But there are issues with a supercharger, or a turbo for that matter. Positive displacement chargers right now have intense intake temps and enormous toe-in knock. (stock has quite a bit too, but the built in system is very good to mitigate this).

There are 2 options for getting rid of that dip (well 3, but that last one is forced induction).

It does not!!!!! But sadly, it has a habit of blowing bearings around 65k miles. Or so says a Subbie tech I’ve talked to. He says it has to do with the piss water oil it calls for and hyper high oil temps. (0w20 and temps as high as 245). The instant I heard this, I changed to 30 weight oil and bought a thermostatic

The “yeah, you were right camp” still hasn’t driven the car. It doesn’t need more power. It needs non-prius tires and a better tune. That torque dip is the biggest POS on the car, but can be easily resolved with a $200 flash. And if you really want more power, spend $600 on a set of headers. 20 hp, 20 tq. Done. less

Takes a lot of tuning. This car needs a supercharger. I just put a turbo in my FRS. Honestly ruins the car. Powerband is no longer linear. I am going to put a twin scroll manifold on it to help and run at lower boost to see if it can be tuned out. but yeah. Turbo no good. Supercharger wins.
