I never understood how a magnetic field can be measured from so far away. Don't you have to be within the field to measure it?

@Lightbourn: I have a droid, and I dont pay any where near that amount. My bill, after taxes fees, ect.. comes to $87 per month with unlimited data, texting and 700 minutes. (though I dont talk too much so..)
