I spent so much time playing Project Gotham 1 and 2 on the original Xbox.  I forget what they called it, but I loved the like auto-x/style points races.  Basically you had to hit all the cone gates and get points for power-sliding/drifting.  Graphics in the game were pretty mind-blowing for the time and the soundtrack…

The only important difference: tonic contains sugar, and calories. About the same level as a Coke.

My dad was an air traffic controller/manager when I was growing up. He frequently  volunteered to work on Christmas because of the Holiday pay. It was grueling having to wait to open presents until he got off his shift, but I do appreciate the sacrifices he made for us(his family).

I’m not sure how you fundamentally misunderstood how this works, since they explain it clearly in their blog, but there’s no challenges involved at all in this. All you have to do is complete a match and you get a thing. I think this is far and away a better system than the previous event, and I hope they continue…

one match a day is a huge time commitment?

I admit I probably play games more than most, so my perspective is skewed, but a 10 minute match for 10 out of the next 14 days doesn’t seem at all unreasonable...

That, and farting during a meal. It’s even worse than sitting around with friends ripping a bong, when one guy (yes, that guy!) has to cough straight in everybody’s faces after taking a massive hit, just to show how “hardcore” they are.

In the past year, I have 100% changed how I microwave food. Instead of throwing something in, setting a time, and pressing “start”, I choose to go a little longer and use the power setting.
