For my first race I was so nervous that I forgot to put the gas cap back on.

Nah, you got who said the quote wrong.

I know WERA and CCS require DOTs for Superstock and Supersport respectively. Last DOT I ran was the BT-003, not awesome, but did the job on the bike I was running at the time (Ducati 1098). I gave up running the Supersport/Stock classes. After I hit 30 I didn’t have the energy to run Supersport, Superbike & GP.

I’ve seen a few on the road and was impressed by how good they look in person.

I ran the Power Slick (never used the EVO) on a GSX-R 1000 and while I will agree that the rear grip is better vs. a Dunlop (personally never liked them), the front felt like it was going to wash out under trail braking and I still think that the Pirelli has better rear feel. I never had the washout problem with the

Maybe it works better now with the better electronics, but the V-Due used 1997 technology.

I kind of disagree about the tires. Compared to the B-Stones or Pirelli (at least in the compounds available to club racers) Michellin is hot garbage. The front washing is a huge thing.

Came for this, not leaving disappointed.

Was it even worth $12 when new?

I’ve ridden a 500 2-Stroke Motard around Blackhawk in Illinois. It was in a 450 4 stroke frame. It was one of the few bikes that I was legit a bit scared on. So damn fast, power so damn sudden. Did five laps on it and I swear I almost high sided at least once a lap due to the sudden onset of power.

The problem with the V-Due wasn’t really the motor itself, it was the attempt at getting fuel injection to work on a two-stroke. Power band was so narrow it was damn near unusable.

Knowing Bimota, its going to cost around $60k

Have it in my Grand Cherokee, great box for a dog-o-matic.

Oh fuck the fucking Russians (might be a tad biased being 1/2 Turkish and 1/2 Ukranian).

Donald Trump, this is your voter base.

Is that my 912?

I sold my tuner Toyobaru to a 20 year old about 6 weeks ago to fund the purchase of a 1967 912.

I plead the fif

My pops had one of these in basically the same color combo right about when I got my drivers license.
