So... Dead Space? You’re just plain wrong this time, it happens.
So... Dead Space? You’re just plain wrong this time, it happens.
Came here to say that, thanks!
I’d fuck my Jayce too. :3
Describe the voice! I’m curious now.
Not to beat a dead horse, but that’s more or less what happened with Phil Fish. A cool guy with great ideas who had absolutely no business running his own Twitter feed at the end of the day.
You’ve bolded the wrong word there, though. Emphasis should be on Galactic, because the Sith Empire has been a cycle for eons at this point, and not just via KOTOR/SWTOR. He’s referring to the first time (at least that he’s aware of) that the entire galaxy is legitimately under the control of one empire. :P The other…
Yes, I admitted in another post that I was generalizing. I mostly meant that the overwhelming majority of projects fall into “can’t be trusted” or “really shouldn’t need this money”. The latter is a small but growing portion, like with Shenmue having backing from Sony already and Inticreates coming forward during the…
My phone ate my original reply, so I’m sorry for the delay, but I was referring to Broken Age running into ambition problems half-way through and launching on Steam Early Access shortly after the beta in order to secure more funds. They absolutely did deliver on the finished game in the end, but it would be remiss to…
My phone seems to have not posted my earlier reply to someone else, so I’ll clarify here as well. Yes, Double Fine did deliver a finished product in the end, but I don’t think publishing a cut-down version on Steam Early Access shortly after beta can’t not be counted as a mishap. Delays are fully understandable, and…
This is a valid point, I mostly meant that even the startups with pedigree have fumbled, to the point where the only entirely “safe” campaigns would be ones by established publishers who have no business being there.
Which basically amounts to “don’t Kickstart games”. There’s been Kickstarter mishaps like with Double Fine and even Inticreates now with Mighty No. 9, and any dev team with a more proven track record than that should be able to get a publishing deal without much difficulty imo.
I’m not convinced they’re going to be fully co-op, but it’s possible. I’m a bit concerned about where the story is going, I just admire the stones it takes to stand up and go “Fine, none of this matters? Let’s go fucking nuts then!”
This is great and all, but is there any word on whether they’re unlocking the TTK bonus content for consoles that don’t have it unlocked? I play on PS3 and PS4 because of separate friend groups, and even I bought the Legendary Edition CE on PS3, my PS4 copy that doesn’t yet have TTK pretends the items don’t exist even…
My favourite thing that came from the Legends designation for EU continuity has to be the new SWTOR expansion, Knights of the Fallen Empire. If you tell Bioware that nothing they do with the story going forward has any impact on existing lore, they do cool shit. Empire and Republic have been fighting a cold war for…
That’s more or less what Bladedancers are. :D
I’m sorry, but in what way did I turn off my brain? I’m absolutely pissed when people get angry in a game, and the first thing I said was that there’s nothing that justifies rage in League. Were you trying to reply to somebody else, or are you just not putting in the effort to read that we agree that people should be…
I’m not sure, but I’m hoping for all of these things.
Just stumbled upon this comment, and now that Pokémon GO is announced I’m convinced you come from the Berenstein universe.
I mean by this logic I could say that digital games as a whole aren’t worth it because buying all of the games on Steam would cost an inordinate amount of money. Dude said that nobody is likely to buy all of the DLC, and no individual thing costs that much at all, so it’s not a $3000 price tag by any means.
I’ll have to look into that sort of thing, thanks a bunch! Friend of mine wants to work together and try to make a mobile game, and I’ve been skeptical about control schemes.
