Not to be a pessimist, but as someone who backed Mighty No. 9, I’ll believe it when I see it. I get that things happen, and I’m glad they’re keeping us updated, but hoooo boy this isn’t giving me the warm fuzzies.

That last story. I let out a sorrowful “No, nobody’s that stupid” as it dawned on me. I’m not even new here, I’ve been reading these for weeks. I should have known better.
Something, something, snide remark about how McDonald’s cheeseburgers might as well not be meat, something, something, something, complete.
How do you control it? I’m not trying to come off as a condescending prick, I’m legitimately curious about how you can manage touchscreen controls for something like that. My S5 and the S3 before it were super unfriendly for onscreen buttons, and I can’t wrap my head around a layout that would work for a game like…
This is going to sound snarkier than it’s meant, and it’s in no way directed to you guys, but... this is news? I’m even something of Vita apologist (come on guys, it’s not THAT bad once you’ve paid twice the cost of a 3DS and found games to import and searched high and low for people to play with!) and this sort of…
A game focused on purely analog controls with movesets dependent entirely on directional input is complex, I’m sorry. It’s not Steel Battalion, but it’s more than you could reasonably map to a mobile device without some sort of peripheral. It’s part of why it took the 3DS to get a handheld Smash - in terms of…
Because quite honestly it would be hard to make a mobile game with the required complexity without needing your users to shell out for some form of controller. You can have complex gameplay or mobile-friendly controls, rarely both.
Near as I can tell, Warlock is the class for you. Hunter is slightly more precision weapon-friendly, but it’s not like Borderlands where you have tightly focused skill trees that make you feel like a bellend for using a pistol as a Soldier. With Taken King I’d try the new Stormcaller subclass for that Palpatine feel,…
Honestly, I miss Bungie from back then. They’ve turned Destiny around a lot, but I’m still not okay with a few of their decisions, namely things like letting Marty go. It’s mind-blowing to me that they left Microsoft citing creative freedom, only to sign on with Activision, who’s been micro-managing them more than MS…
This really isn’t an issue anymore. They fell on their face out of the gate, but they definitely stepped their game up in terms of content. You’re limited in what you can do without The Taken King, but that’s literally any MMO ever, which is what Destiny ultimately is.
Was just elaborating on the bit about overlays, in case anyone else reading was curious haha.
Big Pharma, as in the pharmaceutical industry, is crooked as fuck. And I don’t mean in a tinfoil hat, flouride in the water supply way. The lab techs and researchers are typically amazing people who get into their field with a genuine desire to help people, but it’s ruined by the people at the top who prioritize…
The thing that gets me is that he’s not talentless at all. He’s good at what he does, even if it’s not my cup of tea. He’s an absolute tosser in terms of behaviour, but he’s not completely talentless. :P
Late to this one, but you can modify the files on the client side to install custom skins. It’s harder to do than it used to be, so the third-party programs are just so you don’t have to do it manually. It doesn’t break TOS because it’s just a client-side replacement and has no real impact on gameplay.
Pretty gross then, haha.
The thing with Blizzard games is that most of them have a non-story element that people stick to. Starcraft and Warcraft both have engaging stories in their respective campaigns, but ultimately they have more enduring popularity in the end because of their multiplayer. WoW is story-based, but a LOT of the players…
Not sure I’m comfortable with this. Locking out of advanced classes and new content like the newer maps? Makes total sense. Hindering old content, especially considering LOTS of people want to play all the base game before moving on to TTK? I’m not so okay with. Bungie’s 180’d on where Destiny was heading though, so…
I’m not familiar enough with Sims to know totally where you’re coming from, but I don’t think they quite warrant a 1:1 comparison. It’s expansions, right? Or similar? Which means there’s a lot of things you’d want and maybe some you don’t (typically), whereas this has one thing I want and generally 2 I have no…
Disagree, there’s too many in the way. Characters like Joel and Ellie from TLOU, Nathan Drake, even a couple like Sly Cooper and Jak and Daxter still have enough clout to fill the role of Playstation mascot, and that’s before Sackboy as the obvious.
I’ve just never followed the logic. I’ve been as frustrated as anyone playing this game, but it’s either someone having a bad game that your rage won’t help, or someone intentionally trolling in which case you blowing up at them just accomplishes their secondary goal of getting others banned.
I’m honestly a pretty big fan of Dunkey’s, but I’m not shocked in the slightest that this happened. There’s a huge, tangible difference between talking shit on your stream or for a recording where the people in your match can’t see it, and going off at them using ingame chat. I’ve never really been able to grasp why…
