I... don’t quite follow? How is it cumbersome? I can queue downloads to my handheld from a web browser across the country if I have to, it’s honestly pretty user-friendly.

I’m new to the series with the launch of the trilogy on the eShop.

Oh no, I’m not saying they’re not dominant. It’s more that they’re there less because they proved themselves as the best platform, and more because there hasn’t been a reasonable alternative until comparatively very recently. It’s that monopoly I really dislike, because they don’t have to fight to stay relevant.

I don’t think Steam has “won” so much as just gone uncontested for so long. It has its own problems as a content delivery platform, and I think most of those are from complacency. If GOG keeps them on their toes, everyone wins.

League is a whole lot less complicated than DotA 2 - I’ve been at League for a solid 5 years now almost, and DotA 2 is mechanically different to the point where I don’t know what the hell I’m doing in it at all. :P SirBroad is my main on League, lemme know if you do start playing!

PVP is a really good time, but hoo man, can that lag be a bummer.

Do it! We’ll be your guide. :D

And while we’re at it, holy crap does Gentleman Cho need a VU. The character in general yes, but as someone who’s definitely one of League’s whales, I can’t justify buying it in its current state compared to other skins.

I misphrased a little - he has VO, it’s just garbled and void-y, so Gentleman Cho having dapper VO is jarring AND amazing.

Sadly, the new Gnar skin doesn’t come with a new Gentleman-ly voice like Gentleman Cho’gath did. But I guess it wouldn’t make much sense for Gnar to suddenly start speaking if he’s a incoherently babbling little creature in the first place. Since dressing him up in a suit and top hat makes so much sense in the first

At one point, Warner Bros. issued a public statement that it would not be fixing anything but progression glitches, instead focusing on the game’s downloadable content. Take a quick look at the ensuing thread on the game’s official message boards to see how that news went over.

Except for the part where he’s upfront about having not finished it yet, and how there might be some payoff he’s not aware of at the time of writing? It’s a snapshot of one moment of the story and how it can be perceived within the context within the Batman mythos. Put away the pitchforks, holy shit. :P

I just think DOA is a weird relic when games needed some sort of hook like that to reach wide scale appeal. It could tone down the boobitude and still be a solid game. Mechanically I can respect it, and even artistically I can recognize that sex sells, it just feels sort of like something gaming should have outgrown

Ahh, I figured it might have been a shot at Dead or Alive or something. :P

This is sarcasm, right?

Absolutely disgusting. Also worth saying - AV shaming needs to stop. I get it, holy fuck are these people backwards and paranoid, but calling it out the way most of us do won’t change that - it just exacerbates it to the point where we get stories like this. There’s always going to be a militant branch of any

This definitely isn’t clickbait. It’d be cool for them to cover CEO, but I wouldn’t call them obligated to, either.

Right, I might have been unclear there. “Fucking over” in this context meaning “restricting access entirely” - I can’t use a Lucina amiibo with any of the compatible games because preorders were sold out before I could even load a browser page, haha. This would let me at least play with the in-game portions, which is

I like this as an idea a lot, as an amiibo enthusiast. An amiibo costs $13, call it something like $5 for the content it unlocks? That way it’s not as hefty for people who aren’t interested, it stops scalpers and stock issues from fucking over fans, and provides a net savings if you have the amiibo and it features in

That’s a flawed premise. It’s not about one side getting it better, it’s about both sides regularly getting shafted by preorder culture. There’s no focus on making people want to make a game people want to play, it’s all been diverted to making sure the game is out on time for the preorder crowd.
