Artbook or we riot, Nintendo.
Silly Nintendo, April was months ago.
And nobody’s suggesting that they don’t have to buy the new content. It’s not entitlement to want to buy something without being sold something YOU ALREADY OWN. That’s what Activision is doing. The Taken King is bundled with Destiny and the other two expansions - great for anyone who doesn’t have it yet, but people…
Activision isn’t forcing me to buy anything, that’s true, but they’re not allowing other paying customers to buy it. I’m in a position where I can get the PS4 CE and lose out on nothing - I have neither expansion, so $80 is the exact cost of the two existing ones plus TTK. But that doesn’t mean I can’t see how…
Is there a bug on Bungie’s site, or is the CE seriously not available for PS3/360? I get that they’re last gen, but a lot of people still play them, and it’s not like 90% of the bonuses even impact gameplay. AND why does the CE force you to repurchase the base game and other expansions?
It’s more that people are made that an expansion for a game’s collector’s edition is ONLY available with the rest of the game they already paid for. It would be like if you could buy the new WoW expansion standalone as an existing player, OR the Collector’s Edition, that contained everything up until then and was…
Morph ball puzzles with a gyroscope sound fun. Not on a phone, but on a 3DS would work great.
I still play emulators from time to time - I’ll buy what I can on respective Virtual Consoles, and/or Vita re-releases and the like, but in cases like Fire Emblem 6, which never got an English release, they can piss right off. It’s not a lost sale if it was never an option to buy in the first place.
...But do they have Battletoads?
You’re right, a game that gets a huge announcement at E3 and financial backing from Sony itself doesn’t have any backing OR clout. :P I get that they’re not working with a tremendous budget, it’s just frustrating that Kickstarter is being used almost solely as an interest gauge this time around, and by a game that…
Your username was my EXACT response to your story. Kudos.
Am I the only one a bit irked by this? I thought the entire focus of Kickstarter was for projects who lacked backing and clout, not projects who are partly funded by Sony and announced at E3.
I think the internet as a whole would riot with that sort of change. :P
Holy wow, some of the responses in this thread. Personally I just really dislike how any semblance of characterization is sacrificed for every character BUT him, and for all that he’s... still not an interesting character. Girls fall in love with him at every turn, he sort of falls into situations where he becomes The…
That’s amazing. Disappointing unless I make my way down to PA, but amazing.
Please tell me you’re Canadian. I want to witness this for myself.
I didn’t mind the main story - ultimately the idea of a civil war in an RPG is something that hasn’t been touched on QUITE as much as I’d like, especially one in which you get to choose sides, though the dragon storyline was interwoven in awkwardly as well. I kind of wish they’d been more clearly defined arcs, I…
Kinda felt that way looking at the video! “Okay, the architecture is there, but... this isn’t Elwynn Forest. This is some weird clone. This is the Mewtwo of Elwynn Forests.”
I play both WoW and the other two - I don’t see how they’re rip-off games? It’s more than reasonable to get content without paying a cent.
Unpopular opinion: I’ve honestly always felt that Bethesda was more than a little lazy with Skyrim for exactly those reasons - don’t get me wrong, it’s still a solid game without any mods whatsoever, but from the very start I was like “Yeah, but when does something REALLY cool happen?”
Open world is fine and dandy, but…
