AW11 hands down, because I kick myself for selling mine every time I see one in all it’s wedgy goodness.

Thank you so much! This is exactly how I feel but couldn’t put into words.
I like it, but they are easy to find, PIAA and Hella make them.
But it has a Honda motor!
Will OG Saturn S-series cars ever be accepted at car meets? I have a feeling they would be scorned even at Radwood events.
...I do
That’s what I was thinking, both of them are most likely fleet sales.
So you don’t care about cars, except the old ones from your past, sort of. This article was written in a way that had little to do with the car itself, and published on a car focused site a year after the experience?. Why exactly was this written and published again? I learned nearly nothing about the vehicle or the…
Replace both mirrors with black ones. Makes 80's cars look way better to me. One of the first things I did when I had my 89 AW11.
Can a Saturn SL ever be Jalop?
I’m right there with you. Plus, parking lights usually turn on the interior/gauge lights as well. Often if I’m driving into the sun or in early evening, I move to the first position on my light stalk, marker/parking/whatever lights come on all around car, and gauges light up, and on my car, the fogs also turn on.
2/3 of my cars have “loud” full exhausts. I am relaxed by the thrum. The day’s stresses begin melting away as soon those first pulses start reverberating out the tailpipes.
I watched with no audio, but one possibility is the other side wheels not being locked up, like this side is. That could be effected by 2 vs 4wd. However, the braking system would have to be kinda messed up for that I believe.
I missed this, but I drive a 98 Saturn, and it’s not a stock, neglected appliance-mobile. I’ve heard it all.
Others have voiced the same thing, but this show needs to expand to the midwest! Yes there are parts of the breadbasket that are stuck in the 90's anyway, and good vehicles from that era seem to be quickly returning to the earth. Still, that era is where a HUGE (and growing) portion of the current car nut demographic…
I admit it, I clicked this story because of the S60R in main pic. Glad I did though.
I am the same. I have no problem on course or on long roadtrips, but big problem if riding and not actively paying attention to the road.
Anyone else see those black and brown ones in the last picture and think they were really cool?
This situation is exactly why I got out of professional wrenching and into technical deskwork before I had invested any more in schooling and tools. I love to work on cars, but making money as a young, new tech just doesn’t realistically happen.
I’ll admit I didn’t read the article, but that picture just makes me think: black, white, grey, silver, silver-biege, black, white, grey, silver, silver-biege, black, white, grey, silver, silver-biege, black, white, grey, silver, silver-biege.
