Just means he doesn’t care as much about us old timers whose childhoods were shaped by the single-digit Final Fantasy titles.

What, you don’t enjoy guessing what product they could be referring to that’s $10, disgusting, and for kids?
I’ve got a 6-year-old daughter so I’m going to watch it regardless of what the reviews say. (Her immediate response to the first trailer, knowing nothing about the online controversy, was to ask me why his voice was wrong.)
This is exactly the kind of content I come to this website to find. Bravo.
The exploits were the biggest reason I usually preferred to play Blue again rather than any of the newer games! Catching Pokemon above level 100, duplicating items, manipulating the wild Pokemon table to catch those damn Tauros outside of the Safari Zone (who cares about Mew, Safari Zone was torture).
Yeah, same here. Holiday magic was never really that important to our family, and I’d rather my daughter learn that Christmas is about giving gifts to your family and friends because you love and appreciate them, not because some magical stranger on the other side of the world randomly shows up and gives us things…
I’d like to see your tree if you can wrap a box big enough for a child to fit inside with their siblings under it. In my house, our Christmas tree could fit *inside* such a box.
Pothos, too. They’ll live in pots with drainage, they’ll live in pots without drainage, they’ll live in a jar with nothing but water. I inherited mine from my mom, she never had them in pots with holes in the bottom. They only start looking sad if I let them go a month or so without water.
I’ve been playing Pokemon Moon again lately and got far enough to remember why I stopped 6 years ago. Those damn SOS battles, wild Pokemon calling for help over and over and over and over and there's nothing you can do but just keep fighting them, turning any random Pokemon encounter into a 20-minute slog.
This is why I never preorder, never buy a game day 1 no matter how much I'm looking forward to it. No franchise is immune to releasing a broken game, and I'd rather not waste my time on a disappointment.
Started my 6yo daughter with the Yummy Crate last month, still not sure it’s for her. She loves pretend food and play cooking, but two of the three recipes we got (meatloaf, egg muffins) she didn’t want to make at all.
I hit that point about 10 years ago, after so many humble bundles and 80% off steam sales left me with dozens of games I’d *like* to play someday but never actually do.
Not having heard anything about this type change before, I’m still confused. Does it replace both of their existing types? Just one of them? Or is it a bonus third type that gets added on to the calculation? And how does it effect STAB bonuses from your own attacks?
Sounding like it's better to wait on Pokemon. Hopefully they'll find a way to patch it by Christmas, but if not, it's got a lot of issues right now.

See now, this I can get behind. I don’t usually have garam masala since I don’t cook indian food at home, but my family is half Vietnamese so I’ve always got 5-spice powder in the cabinet. Sounds like just the kind of blended-family apple crisp pie adaptation I’ve been looking for, with stronger notes of anise.
I was legitimately looking forward to this one despite not playing a mainline Pokemon game since I quit Moon a third of the way through, because my 6-year-old daughter has been getting really into Pokemon and it made me really nostalgic.
My nose tends to get pretty runny when it gets cold, even when I’m not sick. I don’t know if this is a universal experience, but I can see how people might think that kind of runny nose, if allowed to continue for too long, might also be able to progress into a postnasal drip sore throat/cough, with similar symptoms…
Yeah, I only ever have a car payment for as long as I have to, and pay the rest off in a lump sum as soon as I have the cash. Cars are made to last a long time usually, so I don't know why I'd need a new one that frequently.
I’d just be worried about the sides of my regular baking sheet not being tall enough to catch all the drippings if by chance it was slightly off level and all of them collected in one corner. Even if they didn’t drip onto the floor of the oven while cooking, I’d have to think about getting it out of the oven at the…
You can put chard on the list with kale. I’ve cut and prepped that ahead of time into bite-sized pieces, then wrapped in a paper towel and put it in a sealed bag. Stays fresh for at least a week that way, if not two or three, same as kale.
