I think one of the bigger things is that they haven't done anything in the past few months to seriously piss anyone off. There's still lingering anger from SimCity/BF4 (the latter being more fresh), but the most recent impression is from Titanfall, which by all accounts has been pretty good.

You'll probably be waiting longer than that. 4k gaming on a single card is probably still a good ways in coming. With new games at least. Which makes sense considering that most people don't have 4k monitors even if they are willing to drop over a thousand dollars on graphics.

Those new models looks really nice and all, but I highly doubt I'll ever return to WoW, unless they make a complete reboot of it.

This is actual gameplay footage from the closed beta... So it is true.

There have already been beta tests for the game with footage released, and people have already been able to make characters etc. They're still improving things, but this is stuff that's been shown off (not necessarily with as much depth due to the fact that the game is still being finished) and playable before.

While the 360 version looks pretty bad, it's clear the actual game isn't "made" for next gen.

With the exception of Star Wars Galaxies (which did so well and never had its mechanics entirely overhauled several times at all), those are games aimed at an MMO crowd. I was speaking from the viewpoint of a fan of The Elder Scrolls entering their first MMO.

How about just, you know, waiting? Looking around and experiencing the world you inhabit? Not every single second of the day needs to be crammed full of stimulus and productivity.
