I wonder why they changed the dpad? I like the dpad from the current controller. At least it can be replaced. Some consoles, like the Vita, will not operate if the battery is dead even though it’s plugged in (or you remove it I suppose) and it’s not super easy to replace compared to simply removing the battery cover. I don’t look forward to the day Nintendo Switch batteries start failing.
