Needs to come with a rather large price drop then as well. A 2DS XL is only $160 right now (game included) which is much more manageable for parents as a gift. Nintendo might price themselves out of a very large market of people if $300 + the price of a game is their starting point.

Must have been based on ringtone volume. My Pixel 2 remained silent. My alarm and media volume were at about 50% but ringtone was on silent.

I haven’t actually played the game yet mostly because of that but couldn’t Nintendo just assign the motions to buttons? Like different button combos or whatever would control the different motion controls?  What would prevent them from simply changing the control scheme?

Crazy memory card prices and the high price of the system itself was very unfortunate. Imagine if it used standard micro SD and came out at $200? I believe it would still be going strong. I hope the controllers are USB. Would make some decent PC controllers if they are. I always like a good first party controller on pc.

The only games I ever buy at release anymore are the game that are primarily multiplayer and a lot of those have moved to a free to play model. Fortnite for example. I recently started playing that mostly to see what the hype is all about as I hated PUBG. So far I have not spent any money on it. I may buy the cheapest…

I live where the internet isn’t fast enough for this type of thing other than maybe if I somehow used my Verizon cell phone as a hotspot but then the caps and throttling are prohibitive. So, if companies want to go to go this direction they can say goodbye to a customer.
