I have to agree. My favorite controller at the moment is the dualshock 4. Dpad is very good on it.

All dpads are just 4 buttons. Diagonals are just two buttons on the circuit board being pressed at the same time.

A lot of the people who bought the Wii U are probably early adopters of the switch and are probably the people complaining about the ports. They did sell several million Wii U consoles and those people would have bought those games.
