For me it is almost entirely how the little rubber under the buttons feels. I want a controller that has responsive buttons but don’t require too much pressure. 1st party controllers all seem to do pretty well but most 3rd party controllers don;’t get the little rubber inserts right.

I agree with this. Make the name change cost money with maybe a one time for free sort of thing. Limit it by time and keep a list of aliases.
